Highlights this  week  

 

On  Friday, March 12th   "Oh What A Lovely Recession"  returns with the beautiful  "Anna Sambalada" and the   wonderful "David Martini" on stage  followed by   DJ Paul Knight on the decks .  Ours hosts will  be dishing out free sambucca and tequila shots to all!  

 

  "Anna Sambalada" brings a  Latino  take on burlesque with her amazing  carnival costumes , dancing and pole moves not to mention a great singing voice too.  She does so like to involve the crowd too....so get your dancing shoes on boys and girls and prepare to be wowed.

 

  "David Martini" comes to us straight from performing in The Rat Pack as our very own Dean Martin absolutely oozing charm & sophistication. In fact this guy is so cool he is practically comatose.   Except for one  thing  ........ ....he does so so love the ladies.  So don't be surprised when he walks  into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady  to sing  a love song too.  Top notch singing and improv from cabaret's self proclaimed coolest cat

 

After the shows from 10ish its disco and dancing with  DJ Paul Knight spinning   80s, 90s with a bit of indie rock until carraiges at 2.30am.   All aided by tacky original 70s/ 80s visuals and rubbish cheapo lighting  for that real School Disco feel

"Miss Kitty" performing her new character "Marilyn Minelli" exclusively at the Peacock.  Our little Blonde Bombshell starts off all Marilyn Monroe like performing songs like " I want to be Loved By You" and "Happy Birthday Mr President" but after the break returns as Lisa Minelli and starts singing hits from Cabaret. On Wow!   

 

  Michael Campari starts the evening off  as "Old Blue Eye" himself oozing charm & sophistication but after the break comes back as" Michael Hadley" with his brilliant  take on New Romantic classics from  Spandau Ballet, ABC  and Duran Duran.  Complete with make up,  lounge lizard suit oh and just oozing charm everywhere he goes.  But don't  get too close as he's not happy  without a microphone in one hand and ... a girl in the other! 

 

After the shows from 10.30ish its disco and dancing with our very own  Eastenders  celebrity DJ  Dave DiskoJuice  spinning   80s, 90s with a bit of Ibiza tinged disco and house until beach buggies  at 2.30am.   All aided by tacky original 70s/ 80s visuals and rubbish cheapo lighting  for that real School Disco feel

We are going for a "Hollywood Romance" theme so The venue - not to mentions staff - will all be dressed in 30s, 40s 50s attire so expect venetian masks, Marilyn Monroe films flickering on the walls and wonderful music from Frank Sinatra to Burt Bacharach (but please feel to come dressed as you are).   Our chef Gianluca Martinese has prepared a special Mother's Day Lunch (from £9.95) and Mothers Day Afternoon Cream Tea (from £8) for the day. To round things off  our very own Frank Sinatra "David Martini" will be performing at 3pmish and 8pmish to complete the perfect Mothers day

In fact this guy is so cool he is practically comatose.   Except for one  thing  ........ ....he does so so love the ladies.  On Sundays he is promising us a longer and more restrained set than his normal Saturday blockbuster. But don't be surprised when he walks  into the crowd and comes back with a Mummy and Daughter or two   to sing  too.

In fact this guy is so cool he is practically comatose.   Except for one  thing  ........ ....he does so so love the ladies.  So don't be surprised when he walks  into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady  to sing  a love song too.  Top notch singing and improv from cabaret's self proclaimed coolest cat

 

  Kiki Kaboom  (2009 Best Newcomer at The London Burlesque Festival)  varied performances includes a classic, elegant striptease while she sings "I Just Want to Make Love To You" to her award winning "Chaverella"  character dressed  in appropriate bling and bad taste. Whilst not singing she is just as likely to be challenging her audience to a fight for "dissing" her or trying to nick your mobile phone ("finders keepers aint it")  Wonderful stuff.        

 

12th February

But that won't stop her from trying to chat up  your boyfriend or falling off the stage for that matter!   Hilarious and great songs too.  

 

 "Chinese Elvis" comes to us straight from the West End.  Our very own Elvis absolutely oozing charm & sophistication with a great voice, costume and of course wiggly hips    Except for one  thing  ........ ....he is Chinese .  Don't be surprised when he walks  into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady  to sing  a love song too.  Top notch singing and improv from the acclaimed Chinese Elvis

4th  April  Easter Bank Holiday Sunday 2am Special

 

"Lou Elvis Jordan" aka Elvis To The Stars comes to us straight from performing for the likes of Angie (that's Angelina Jolie to you) and Mike (that's Mikey Rourke to you) so you are lucky lucky lucky people.  Our Lou - apart from his great voice, shaking hips and outfits - is also very good with ladies.  So don't be surprised when he walks  into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady  (or two) to sing  a love song too.  Top notch singing and improv from cabaret's self proclaimed "Elvis To The Stars"

But that won't stop her from trying to chat up  your boyfriend or falling off the stage for that matter!   Hilarious and great songs too.

On Wow!   

 

 "Chinese Elvis" comes to us straight from the West End.  Our very own Elvis absolutely oozing charm & sophistication with a great voice, costume and of course wiggly hips    Except for one  thing  ........ ....he is Chinese .  Don't be surprised when he walks  into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady  to sing  a love song too.  Top notch singing and improv from the acclaimed Chinese Elvis
