Early reserved area (pre 9pm)
You can book your early reserved area for between 5* - 70 people in either the "dance" (loudest), "front" or "rear" (quietest) part of the bar. For larger groups we recommend booking a cordoned off area (see below) instead. With a reserved area you can also take advantage of our pre ordered bottle, canapé and cake service. On Fridays and Saturdays we will automatically put you and your guests on the guestlist (free all night Fridays and Saturdays) but can only hold unclaimed early reserved areas till 9pm Saturdays (10pm Fridays) . We also recommend letting your guests know that our burlesque performances start at 9pm sharp so as avoid possible disappointment.
* on Saturdays min reserved area size is five, but two or more is fine Sunday -Friday
On Saturdays we are very wild (described by one journalist as Sodom and Gomorrah on Speed which we rather like) and very hedonistic with many people dressing up (although not compulsory we do recommend it you will have much more fun) or coming here to go on stage. We are are very popular with groups (large and small) celebrating birthday, engagements, hen parties etc . Please be prepared for this. On Saturdays we are also arranged more as a dance bar /club with far less seating than during the week and the dance floor gets very busy with lots of people coming later just for the 70s 80s 90s music. Also we do not do drinks only reserved areas for under 10 people on Saturdays . Again please be prepared for this.
Fridays are often more restrained as we have also have office works do earlier on too although still busy and popular with party groups later on and can be a better choice if Saturday's madness sounds a bit much for you ! Fridays are also recommended for party groups wanting to do our cocktails classes later on in the evening or very large party groups who need a a triple cordoned off area.
On Fridays and Saturdays we have hosts who will seat you, look after you and of course prep you for stage. Let them know if anything is wrong or could be better they want you to have a good time.

We are also always looking for volunteers to appear on stage with our performers - its fun honest and you don't have to do much just dance or sing along!. We photograph you and your group before, during and after the show plus you get a free round of cocktails. You will then appear on our Stars In Their Eyes Gallery. Late reserved areas (post 10.30pm)
On Fridays and Saturdays a small number of late reserved areas come up free after the shows from 10.30pm onwards. These can be reserved too for groups of 5 upwards coming just for the Djs after 10.30pm. However you do need to be flexible as regards the size of the area and time coming (ie no point coming at 1am and expecting your area to still be available. You may also get an area smaller than you ideally want as well)

Cordoned off areas for 30th, 40th birthday party , engagement and wedding parties
We have a variety of cordoned off area options. They are excellent for larger party groups especially 30th, 40th birthday party , engagement and wedding parties. For large groups do take full advantage of our booking and hosting services. They will come up with ideas you cannot even imagine and are just not possible at other venues no matter how good ( just say "I am looking for something a bit different" ) :-
- Our rear cordoned off area is situated on the "quiet side" of the bar away from dance floor but still with a good view of stage. Comes with its own separate bar & serving staff . The area can be varied in size to suit groups of between 30 - 50 people and is completely private . Customers can customise with their own decorations and is ideal for clients choosing pre ordered drink & food options. Very popular with birthday, corporate, engagement and hen parties who want an intimate private area but also want to see the shows & join in the general festivities .
- Our front cordoned off area benefits from having better views of the stage and being closer to the dance floor but it not quite as intimate as our rear area and does not have its own bar. The area can be varied in size to suit groups of between 40-70 people and is completely roped off . Customers can customise with their own decorations and is ideal for clients choosing pre ordered drink & food options . Very popular with "younger" birthday, corporate, engagement and hen parties who want a private area a bit closer to the action!
- Our double cordoned off area spans the whole length of the venue and is ideal for groups of 100-150 people . The area can be varied in size to suit requirements and is completely roped off with the benefit of its own bar & serving staff. Customers can customise with their own decorations and is ideal for clients choosing pre ordered drink & food options In the past we have used double cordoned off areas very successfully for corporate events, engagement parties , speed dating events, and weddings both during the week and at the weekend.
There is no hire fee or minimum bar spend for booking a cordoned off area but we may require a small deposit for weekend bookings and do ask you to keep us updated re numbers etc . On Fridays and Saturdays we will automatically put you and your guests on the free all night guest list. However for cordoned off areas on Saturdays preference is given to groups coming early pre 8pm. We also strongly recommend letting your guests know that our burlesque performances start at 9pm sharp so as avoid possible disappointment as well.

It's World Cup time at the Peacock although we are celebrating England Games on three big screens, with complimentary tequila shots, & burlesque, cabaret and 80 DJs after. Booking essential for England Games. For other group games we will grudgingly (just kidding) have one screen devoted to the action. For Knockout stage and later - well lets just see how well England do first. !

Foodikins for Party Groups
Our new wunderbar chef Gianluca Martinese - who we have managed to poach from the exclusive George Club, Mayfair London (prior to that Gianluca was chef at Shoreditch House) - has prepared a number of options specifically designed for party groups. Please note these often need to be ordered in advance (see our Food Page for more details) although it of course possible to order from our bar menu on the night.
- grazing menu : trays of crudités, canapés and tapas
- buffet menu : £5 (one course), £10 (two course) and £15 (three course) per person sharing plates
- cake menu: home made traditional cakes (or design your own) with a personalised sweet or such message for party boy/girl
- afternoon cream teas: the supreme cultural achievement of the British Empire.

"Stars In Their Eyes" for Hen parties, Birthday parties, Stag parties, Birthday parties etc
To make your celebration really stand out why not as well as booking a reserved area or cordoned off area take part in "Stars In Their Eyes". and be invited on stage from the audience by our singer who will sing you a love song whist you look adoringly into his eyes or dance away. For men we can pair you up with one of our female performers if you fancy being sung "Big Spender" whilst our performer writhes around you. For the more adventurous boys and girls amongst you we can also arrange for our trannie performers to do something a little or a lot raunchier!
Want to go on stage but worried about being too nervous? Don't be our expert hosts will talk you through what to do and guide you every step of the way. Oh and we only ever take volunteers on stage too. We will never let your friends press gang you on stage or allow people on stage unless we are 100% confident they will 100% love the experience.
Our professional photographer (Karl Yates Photography) takes pictures of you and your group before, during and after the show. The pictures are then published on Facebook and on our website (see "Stars In Their Eyes on The Gallery Page).

However how can I put it - we are not keen on L plates and errr groups of lads from Croydon wearing Ben Sherman shirts, low cut baggy jeans and a lot of "wet look" hair gel . Cocktail Lessons for Hen parties, Birthday parties, Stag parties, Birthday parties etc
Cocktail Lessons sound too much like hard work - not the way we do it! We put you behind the bar and we show you how to make cocktails (no charge for this just the cost of the cocktails @ £4 each) for your friends who then proceed to drink them. We also teach you juggling (subject to your coordination and sobriety) as well as various flirting techniques and tricks. This includes the infamous "I will make you something special" hip wiggle and hair flick.
And to cap it all off we and your friends score you with special cards we give you with comments ranging from "null points" to "you are a sexy beast who makes a mean cocktail" with a lot in between.
You do though need to pre book and it is only available to party groups coming early (eg 7pm or earlier) on Sats (Mon-Fri later is fine). We also do one hour and two hour cocktail lessons (see Cocktail Lessons Page - tab at bottom of page)

Other treats for Hen party, Birthday party, Stag party groups
Here are some ideas which have gone down well in the past for party groups but please feel free to run any ideas you may have past us - if at all possible it will be our pleasure to accommodate them.
- mohito and caipirinha heaven where our mixologists produce a bewildering array of different flavoured mohitos and caipirinhas all at half price (before 8pm and must be pre ordered )
- vodka heaven where our mixologists provide 12 (or multiples of 12 ) different flavoured vodka shots for tasting all at half price (must be pre ordered)
- white tie bucks fizz service. One of our staff dressed up Fred Astaire style in white tie serves your customers drinks all night from a silver tray (we only charge for the sparkling wine so xcosta about £3 per person) for that "Brideshead Revisited" feeling
- customized cake with sweet /saucy message. We bake all our own cakes and you can pick one from our menu (or design your own) with a sweet or saucy message for party girl /boy (£25 medium sized cake /£35 large cake). Our photographer can take shots of you

PR company and celebrity bookings
Yes we can look after after any media or celebrity clients you want to book in (isn't burlesque all the rage these days hasn't been like this since oooh Queen Victoria died) this includes providing a VIP area, assigning security (or let you bring your own), having a blanket no autograph/photography/press policy and so on. In fact we even throw in a bit of bowing and scraping too if that's their bag.
However we strongly advise against booking under a false name and then arriving really late just in case our Host says something like "you look like that pop star whose name I cannot remember" (which doesn't always go down that well) and worse has given your reserved area away (also tends to be a bit of a downer - it really is important to come before 9pm) to a group on the waiting list. Obviously we will do everything we can to recover the situation for you but it really is better to avoid the aggravation in the first place.
Oh one thing we really like is "unscheduled surprise" appearances which we can of course plan in depth in advance with you and your client. So if you have any one in mind let us know.

Poledancing and Burlesque Hen classes
The venue can be booked for poledancing and burlesque hen classes Saturday afternoons between 12pm and 5pm. through Polepeople our sister company from their website www.polepeople.co.uk or by calling the lovely and ever so helpful and beautiful Soni on 0207 737 7447. Our all female staff will happily make sure you are well looked after food and drinkwise.
Charity events using cordoned off area
We also happy to host charity events which take advantage of our cabaret and Djs for free. These work very well particularly on Fridays & Saturdays. You can book a cordoned off area which is roped off and then charge or pre-charge your guests for entry to that area. This allows you to put on a great night for your guests at limited cost although we do recommend you provide some complimentary drinks, food and "dress" your area to make it feel special. Your guests have the advantage of their own private space and are able to enjoy the performances and Djs too. Ideal for events of between 50-150 people and you can also do Sunday-Thursday. Its a lot less palava than booking your own venue and performers too!

Summer events and our cabaret performers
'Tis the time for corporate summer parties and we have some great ideas for you.
Why not book your party here and we can provide a full menu of entertainment for the night including, bands, comedy, burlesque, cabaret and DJs. We have a great range of performers to suit any occasion ranging from Michael Campari (our very own blue eyes) to one of our trannie's with everything else in between. Even better let us know something about your company and staff and our performers can incorporate them into the acts for you.
All that of course plus wonderful food (see buffet options) & drinks (how about your own customised cocktails?) in a super stylish venue. With a full production crew we can also dress the venue to your requirements and are always happy to work with corporate events companies & caterers to make sure your clients have a wonderful time
There is no hire fee either just a deposit of £250 which is returnable if the bar spend exceeds £1,000.

Private party hire
The Peacock can be hired for private events such as birthday parties , corporate events etc with a licence until 2am Sunday-Thursday as long as we have enough notice (usually two weeks). We usually require a deposit of £250 which is held against a minimum bar spend of £1,000. We do not do private party hire on Fridays and Saturdays currently but will shortly be opening a first floor function room which will be available for private party bookings.

Artist bookings
Really enjoyed your night here and want to book one of our artists for your private party, corporate event, engagement, or wedding? Just drop us an email with the artist / DJs name or even just what he /she looks like (or date you were here) and we will pass your details on to them. Not only are our performers very good they are also highly professional (always helps if the performer turns up in our experience). Also they can tone their acts up (but not all the way up if you catch my drift) or down (eg for weddings where parentals present) to suit every occasion. We also have access to very good cover bands and mobile discos too. Finally we do not charge a fee for this as we quite like seeing them gainfully employed and well fed. Fresh country air also seems to do them a world of good as they can get a bit pasty faced from being in night clubs too much.
